I am a single mom and my car started making a funny noise one day. I called my brother and he recommended Big Apple. I took my car there and did not have an appointment. The owner's wife asked one of the mechanics to look at my car while I waited with my kids in the waiting room. Melinda turned on cartoons for the kids and offered us refreshments. It was during lunch time but the mechanic (whom I found out was the owner) looked at my car and found a vacuum hose that was loose. He reconnected the hose and did not charge my anything. He could have sold me anything to fix my car but he was honest. They did not even charge me to look at it. You hear so many bad things about repair shops and how they take advantage of people, especially women. These people were so friendly and nice to me you would think we were old friends. If you are looking for an honest mechanic and a clean, safe place, this is the shop to go to. I will never go anywhere else and when I started to mention it to other people, I found out a lot of my friends go there as well!
